Summit Sports Studio is evaluating the development of a dedicated indoor youth training facility serving children ages 5–14 in Bonney Lake, Tehaleh, and surrounding East Pierce County communities.
Before committing to a long-term lease and facility buildout, we are gathering community input to better understand local demand, scheduling preferences, and interest in structured youth programming.
The proposed facility would focus on safe, coach-led programs designed to help kids stay active, build confidence, and develop athletic skills year-round.
Potential programming includes:
• Structured weekly training programs (1x and 2x per week options)
• Small-group instruction with low coach-to-athlete ratios (typically 1:8–1:12)
• Multi-sport and skill-development training
• Summer camps and school-break programs
• Sport-specific clinics and special events
• Indoor turf training space
• Hardwood half-court development area
• Batting and throwing lanes
In addition to Summit-operated programs, select community partners may offer complementary programming during designated facility hours.
Families in Tehaleh, Bonney Lake, and surrounding communities have limited access to dedicated indoor youth training spaces that provide year-round opportunities for skill development in a structured and supervised environment.
Summit Sports Studio is being developed to give children ages 5–14 a place to build skills, confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging through structured play and coach-led training.
Before finalizing facility plans, we are gathering parent input to ensure the programs, schedule, and membership options align with the needs of local families.
More than 100 local families representing over 230 children have already shared input as we explore bringing Summit Sports Studio to the Bonney Lake and Tehaleh communities.
As we move through the lease, financing, and development process, families can join the Founding Family Priority List.
Once the location and opening timeline are finalized, a limited number of founding families will receive:
• Early access to preferred training times
• Locked founding member rates
• Priority enrollment before public registration opens
There is no payment or commitment required at this time. The list simply helps us gauge community interest and keep families informed as the project progresses.
